1. 직업

· do you work? : 일하세요?
· i'm majoring in history : 역사학을 전공하고 있어요.
· no, i'm still searching(looking) for a job : 아니오 아직 구직 중이에요.
  =i'm between jobs
· what do you do? : 무슨 일 하세요?
· what do they do for a living? : 그들은 직업이 뭐예요?
· i work as a nurse : 간호사로 일해요
· what does your sister do for a living? : 언니는 직업이 뭐예요?
· where do you work? : 어디서 근무하세요?
· i work for Kakao : 카카오 사에서 일해요
· i'm an assistant manager at Kakao : 카카오 사의 부팀장이에요.
· i teach at school : 학교에서 강의해요
· i'm a PhD student : 저는 박사과정 학생입니다. 
 
 

2. 나이

· guess how old i am : 제가 몇살인지 맞춰보세요.
· i'd say you're about 50 : 제가 보기에 당신은 50살쯤인 것 같아요.
· i turned 40 this year : 올해 40살이 되었어요.
· i'm going to be 50 next Monday : 다음 주 월요일이면 50살이 될 거예요. 
· she's not quite 30 : 그녀는 아직 30살이 안됐어요.
· amy is not yet 40, is she? : 에이미는 아직 40살이 안 됐어요, 그렇죠?
· amy is still in her fourties : 에이미는 여전히 40대예요. 
· i'm 3 years older than you (are) : 저는 당신보다 세 살 위예요.
·  mu sister is 5 years younger than i am : 제 여동생은 저보다 다섯 살 어려요.
· how many people are there in your family? : 가족이 모두 몇 명이에요?
= how big is your family?
· there are five of us all together : 모두 다섯 명이에요.
· my brother is the oldest : 제 오빠가 맏이예요.
· my sister is next to the oldest : 제 언니가 둘째예요.
· i'm the youngest : 제가 막내예요.
